Cosmosonic is an album released on May 26, by the Swiss stoner rock eponymous group. Thirty four minutes long, the record has five tracks: A Night With The Devil, Party Spirit, Chtulhu, Hopeless and Save Me. A more furious type of stoner rock, that is really engraved in the hostile horizon of a very aggressive sonorous layout, throughout this five tracks, Cosmosonic reveals itself to be a very original and dense musical group, way heavier than ordinary stoner rock bands.

With a straight to the point appeal, Cosmosonic is not afraid of extending boundaries, and solidifying a more corrosive style. Although the general core of their music is indeed centered in the traditional features of the genre, even their slow passages have a corrosive and tempestuous sonorous outline. With a sound that, contrary to several other stoner rock bands, is not sterile or static at all, Cosmosonic’s music have a very expressive anatomic dynamic, that is mostly centered on genuinely rude and poignantly malicious guitar lines, overwhelmed by a sense of urgency, coherently juxtaposed with their latent harmonies, that aligns their constantly ascending intonations with a very peculiar digression of conformity.

With marvelously expansive and deranged guitar lines that overcomes the solitude and the darkness of a ferocious degree of artistry never testified before in the history of the genre, Cosmosonic reevaluates in their style the probabilities of a rhythmic storm that saturates the ground with their compelling sonorous devices. Reaching the highest scale and the most elevated expectancies with their endlessly protuberating and perforating musical abilities, Cosmosonic unveils the ultimate creed of a no return point that is uniquely elaborated by the axial strength of their music.

Undoubtedly a wonderful album, with a pristine degree of purity that reaches a new level of sonorous configuration for the genre, Cosmosonic has, on this eponymous album, created a majestic work of art, that not only renovates, but entirely rejuvenates all the stylistic possibilities within stoner rock. Evidently, this is a record that deserves to have a singular chapter in the history of the genre.
