With more horizontal, protuberating and continuous harmonies, Eoront majorly displays a style of their own. While the main musical features are common to contemporary black metal, they do develop – and brightly execute – a very peculiar style, that easily places them as particularly incisive and intensely curious. With an impeccable and lucid technique, combined to the strength of solid and confident musical features, Eoront unravels in Another Realm a very captivating album, that, despite its extensive length, manages to be exceptionally versatile and vivid. With the predominance of melodic and delicate intonations at certain passages, Eoront unravels a singular overview of their genre of choice, that can be as graceful and serene as aggressive and brutal, alternating in such exponentially harmonious and humane grievances, that their exceptionally creative talent, with its deeply poetic and meaningful inclinations, maintains its evidence all the way through.
Being a majestic and overtly intriguing album, Another Realm is an incredible evolution for compositional and stylistic features, in what concerns black metal. With superb and impressive musical insinuations, the main weakness of the album is the sometimes excessively longer tracks, that eventually may leave the listener contemplating monotony. Nevertheless, the record has so much intrinsic qualities attached to its musical layout, that inherently deserves to be considered a good, innovating and genuine album.
Strongly flirting with atmospheric black metal for the most part of its run, Another Realm is really a glorious triumph for the genre. The type of record that produces instantaneous happiness to anyone considered a true enthusiast of the genre.
