Some people may disagree with me, and with good arguments the discussion is always valid! But an experience is only complete when witnessed or performed on the way it was conceived. Many of my works are like that: 'Desodorante, use com moderação' (Deodorant, use sparingly!, in english) let the concert halls infested with cheap deodorant scent. Possibly because of these new ways of selling art that get the public attention, as well as adding market value in a song that the mainstream has not yet been able to "see" (and this phenomenon is happening from a lot of years) leave me so excited!!! Great ideas come up all over the world, and one of them came out with this label called IIKKI, which mixes music and photo books / images. The music serving as background for a static image! Almost like a movie, if cinema were a comic book!

I know that I have said this many times, but every DIY label that achieved some success works in the following way: They choose/find the best artistic material possible (in all its honesty) and then, they find the best way to reach it's audience. In addition, they still realize innovative ways to sell their albums. This is not done to these labels become millionaires, their biggest purpose is to give to independent artists a chande to live from something that is already completely banalized: the Music (with capital letter M).

Yes, I know that this kit is expensive, and that you could buy the book separatedly from the vinyl and listen to the music at bandcamp. But this isn’t just a book and/or a vinyl. This is an experience that you have to start the music, sit on your most confortable couch and look to the images, quietly, reflecting on its content, then get up, swap the vinyl side, seat again and continue to see the other pictures. This is an unbelievable experience that you must have to do at least one time at your entire life!!! The preview video is just below, so you can see by yourself that IIKKI's work is really fantastic!!!
