EP II is an album by French post rock act moYan, released on September 30. With four tracks – Yulong Xueshan, Immortelle Anonyme, Oni-sura and Tzewang "Green Boots" Paljor – the style of the group is quite charming, colorful and serene. With beautiful melodies, exceedingly attractive, that sensibly highlights at the axis of its universally majestic appeal all the humanity of a purely sensorial rapture, it’s easy to proclaim the simplicity of their style an axiom of beauty and elegance. With a sophisticated form, amazingly lucid, but evasive, cohesive and primordially basic at the same time, their songs are the sole definition of sonorous cordiality. As the music feels like carrying the whole universe in a molecule of amicable and well-structured symphonies, that invisibly explodes and expands at the synapsis of a primordially sensitive dormant state that inextricably sleeps at the soul of human serenity, the main anatomy of their songs are evidently based on delicately harmonious guitar lines, subtly inserted in a melancholic conjuncture. A simple, but profound layout, that guarantee to moYan the perfect formula for a genuine and brilliantly conceived style.

While they are, indeed, mostly indebted to a very simple musical structure, the beauty that relies and, as a consequence, is exposed throughout their sensational melodies hypnotizes the listener, as the vacant spots in your soul are, little by little, fulfilled by a projection of marvelous and miraculous intonations of sincere sonorous redemption. With a style increasingly subtle, but primordially divine at the same time, EP II undoubtedly can be classified as a glorious record, where a majestic sense of intense and peaceful correlations of omniscient energy passes through the soul, opening invisible doors to a more plausible sphere of existence.

With great sensibility and a formidable sense of quietness, the music of moYan is a fantastic journey through a paradise of immense tranquility. With incredible power and a monumental energy, the whole album is a glorious elegy to the purest element of the human equation, and all the complex universes that intrinsically inhabits the diligent storms of life.

Definitely recommended to all enthusiasts of the genre, EP II, by moYan, is a fantastic and fabulous record. Incredibly incisive, but as primordially soft as a calm solitary afternoon of rain, second after second, minute after minute, this album presents to its audience so much more than ordinary music: in fact, what we have on this work is the purest and most glorious manifestation of sonorous art, inserted in a delicate portrayal of everlasting melodies.
