Released December 1st, almost one hour long, Winter Spells has nine excellent tracks:
Winter Spells, Ahab, Bleeding Night, Nocturnal Mantle, Interlude in G minor, Autumn Glare, Diminishing Night, The Waning Moon Has Fallen and The Final Hill. Like a honest force of nature, Argentine Noctem Aeternus showcases a virulent, dense and overlooking, but sublime and delicate style, that expresses the intensity of the harmonies that comes out from his heart. With a masterly sinister sonorous feature, the ambivalent shadows that draw the rhythmic lines of his majestic harmonious universe of loneliness, drowsiness and sincerity expose the brilliant anguish of a talent that has fantastically flourished entirely on its genre of choice, as this fact is predominantly evident in the calm, but deeply expansive and eviscerating shape of his music.
With a nocturnal energy that seems to understand the ancient nature of the abysses of the everlasting harmonies of cosmically humane, but infinitely conscious obliterations of perceptions, the artist preciously captures precisely the magnificent essence of BM, in a much more sinister and conflagrating sphere of sensibility.
The wonderful tonalities of the dense harmonies easily captures the soul of the listener, seeking to transport to another universe the most pure and soft essence of the human personal and individual grace. A delightful symbiosis of lucidity and sensitivity, Winter Spells seems to be an eternal cosmic waterfall of sonorous contingencies, that replies directly to the most fundamental urgencies of the soul, elucidating the peaceful affability of a somnolence that obliterates the inquiries of a pungent personal reflection, that is always prepared to revolve around the kindness of the human grace.
A very interesting record, albeit repetitive and thoroughly uniform in some parts – the only “negative” aspect I have to write about Winter Spells –, this is certainly an album with formidable qualities, worked in such an audacious, singular and innovative manner, like the genre has never testified before. This majestic album certainly has everything to capture the attention of all enthusiasts of atmospheric BM!
