With a perfectly delineated sound, as faithful to the symmetry and aesthetics of the genre as a band could be – but without renouncing the punctual singularities of a style of their own – Sound Architects engineered a perfectly delineated and astoundingly designed group of melodies, not only impressive by the profound appeal of its beauty, but also by the careful expansive anatomy undertook by the unconditional stream of its melodies.
With resourceful and severe, but flexible guitar lines, there is a subtle versatility in their music, diffused by the strength of a colorful sense of serenity, that embraces in their sonorous ocean of lucid sensibilities a universe of intricate melodies that creates and disperses genuine prerogatives of quiet satisfaction, that communicates the solid and vivid pain of emotions through a wind of invisible constellations, that becomes the essence of their music.
An elegy to quietude, vividness, serenity and intensity, the plural density of their music is a major amplification of all sensorial abilities that enable us to feel their majestic harmonies throughout the major scope of possibilities still unseen. With amazingly pure, careful, detailed and elaborated melodies – that, nonetheless, never loses its spontaneous trait, neither the minimal devices of its corporeal vulnerability –, In Time of Need is a great and precious album, that certainly will please and delight all enthusiasts of post rock around the globe.
