With the genuine strength of an audacity filled with the exhilaration of endless creative possibilities, Le temps du rêve is a very categorical and lucid work of art. Life can be felt in every molecule of each and every condescending stream of marvelous melodies, as they descend in a current wave of transforming beauty, that sustains every circle of clarity exhibited by the music throughout its sincere flood of spontaneous grace.
Nonetheless, there is in this album some unexpressive moments of lethargic and uniform passages, too exceedingly slow, and doomed to a sense of sameness. This does not diminish the value of the work in any way whatsoever. Unfortunately, these moments can be hard to endure after some time, since they are, besides repetitive, too extensive.
But despite its flaws, the musical grace that is abundant in the album makes Le temps du rêve to be deemed a very lucid, graceful, genuine and appealing record. With the precious domain of a brightly resourceful musical technique, developed by a band that knows with exact precision what they are really searching sonorously, Le temps du rêve reveals itself to be a majorly intelligent, good and incredibly interesting album. I reiterate here the fact that, while it is not, indeed, a perfect album, there is excellent and inspiring tracks on this work, that genuinely aspire to a higher form of art, upon which I can positively affirm that a lucid, cohesive and overwhelming category of music can be easily ascribed to Synopsys.
