There is so much to talk about it... because I discovered its beauty and creativity gradually... Well, in the first step I heard its music, and for a various artists compilation, it has an extremely cohesion because of the organization of its beatiful tracks - in the absence of a better adjective – and the album never gets boring!!! Oh, this work also has a care that few labels have when they release this kind of compilation: all the tracks were mastered FOR the entire album (an extremely well done work by Mathias Van Eecloo). This gives loudness homogeneity and normalizes the whole sound spectrum of all the songs, only this musical production "detail" already would make me give a grade 10 to this album! But there were other surprises waiting for me... Right after I discovered something that made me even more excited: The compilation was limited in 175 copies packed in a metal box with an awesome poster and some stickers as a collector's item (this could be seen in the images attached at the end of this review). As I said earlier, creativity is everything!!! The final prove is the fact that this album was released on December 12 and in a few days it was already sold out!!!
Interestingly, yesterday (January 15) I talked to a filmmaker friend and I said the following sentence to her: "It's impossible to destroy the system, but sometimes, with a lot of creativity, we can disturb it a little." In a time that the major record labels have absorbed the digital innovation and have re-invoiced billions of dollars, I confess that I always stay EXTREMELY happy - and hopeful - when I see any small DIY label finding creative solutions to show that it's still possible that an artist could survive worthily making art made with the heart, and not only to sell as much as possible. I really recommend this album, even in its digital version, and I also emphatically suggest the readers to accompany this label's releases!!!
