No need to open your eyes and Fall to November Sky are both personal musical projects of an unknown Russian musician, upon which nobody knows anything. Nevertheless,
although both projects share a lot of things in common, with little to no difference in between them, they are astonishing and reverberating works of art, primarily functioning in the Drone and Shoegaze styles, with some elements of Post-Black Metal in it.

Fall to November Sky, being a little older, apparently active since 2009, does have a more prominent role, and a more voluminous discography. With one demo, one EP, two splits, and two full lengths, the most recent album, titled “a little sounds for an empty world”, was released almost two years ago, on November 19, 2014. With seven beautiful and poetic tracks, it is certainly a remarkable work, that quite rapidly makes you see why Fall to November Sky does have a considerable cult following fan-base. With more fast rhythms and a direct to the point straight sonorous intuition, its fiercely poetic roundabouts guarantee to you a great, vast, challenging and proficient sound experience, like you hardly heard before, especially regarding the greatest work done here on the fusion of such different styles of music, beautifully combined altogether, functioning as one independent art, that allows you to see the end of a black and white rainbow, in a gray and sad day full of haze.

No need to open your, eyes, on the other hand, it is a more recent project. With only one EP, one full length and one split album, No need to open your eyes does follow a lot of the traces of its sister project, sharing melancholic melodies, transcending harmonies and beautiful coalitions of sound, on an wide ranging sonorous outlook of beautiful proficiency, that will make you go emotional and sentimental, on the outdoors of your living serenity, unraveling beautiful perceptions of mind, inside the windows of the realm of your sensible soul.

Both Fall to November Sky and No need to open your eyes are very poetic projects, deeply meaningful and astoundingly melodic. Both shares marvelous elements on their essences, and the poetic outfit adorning the sound, and the transcending vicissitudes almost visual at the linear fall of the cosmogonies that both projects draw at the epicenter of their motivations are so undertaking, that rearranges, at the core of your spirit, the rapture of all the essence that the beauty of the music seems to capture at every single second, almost divine at certain parts.

I haven’t liked everything that I’ve listened on both projects, although I haven’t listened to their entire discography. Nonetheless, I should point it out that, on what regards Fall to November Sky, my favorite release is the album “a little sounds for an empty world”, and on the No need to open your eyes behalf, my favorite release certainly is the EP “diffuse age”. Both of these masterpieces are groundbreaking works of art, exceedingly elemental, and transcending in all the surrounding components, that touches the layers and atmospheres of this unknown Russian musician, that makes such beautiful music! My guess is that, if you like experimental music that focuses on drone and shoegaze, with a very linear, poetic and melancholic setting, you should give both of these projects a try! You will not be disappointed! Both are remarkable and exceedingly poetic underground milestones.
