Well well, I just finished my top-10 of 2015 and the first possible candidate for the 2016 list is already knocking on my door. Belgian post-metal/doom act Hemelbestormer will release their first full-length somewhere in 2016. The album will be titled 'Aether' and will be released by Debemur Morti Productions, who had this to say:
On "Aether", the Belgian talented quartet showcase total mastery of their Art, dragging the listeners down into a threatening and appeasing sonic landscape, meticulously and patiently built with mammoth riffs, overwhelming melodies, and majestic soundscapes.
The tracklist is as follows :
1- After Us The Flood
2- Starless
3- The Purging
4- On Desolate Plains
The magnificent cover is the work of Kevin Hensels (also bass player of the band)
The album will be available in a beautiful 6-panel digipack CD and digital download on February 19th and on a sumptuous Gatefold 2x12" LP on February 26th.
HEMELBESTORMER bring you the future. The purging has begun...
