I don't know about you, but if someone mentions 'For fans of A Perfect Circle, Deftones, Tool...', I get quite curious. Here is a brand new rock band from Geneva (Switserland), named Ten Seconds Era. Founded in 2013, this quintet is about to release a four-track e.p. next month. After listening to Touchdown, we're looking forward to the rest. Check below

Deuil shocked everyone with their 2013 debut. This wicked combination of doom and black metal gained popularity allover Belgium and beyond. Orson Hentschel is a German composer and producer based in Düsseldorf, who just signed with Denovali Records. Starting to play classical piano at an early age, he now mainly composes electronic, experimental and film music. Influenced by classical minimal music Hentschel's sound is characterised by a large variety of musical structures which are often arranged in a contrasting way. His current live performance, supported by a drummer, is a very energetic, loud and haunting experience.

On July 14th, Deathwish will reissue Mercy from legendary post-hardcore band Planes Mistaken For Stars. Mercy is their much-beloved and highly influential 2006 album. Along with newly revamped packaging, this definitive version has also been remastered from the original 1/2” tapes by Brad Boatwright at Audiosiege (Sunn O))), Modern Life Is War), sonically making it more powerful and textural than ever before.
Since 2012 the band has secretly been working on new music. The band, formed in 1997 and split up in 2007. After a few reunions they found the spark again. The result should be available by the end of 2015 or early 2016. Planes Mistaken For Stars will tour the US this summer. Mutoid Man, a supergroup Stephen Brodsky (Cave In) on guitar and vocals, Ben Koller (Converge, All Pigs Must Die) on drums and Nick Cageao on bass, is about to release an immense steamroller soon. The upcoming album, named Bleeder, will be loaded with influences from stoner and math rock/metal and videogames. It will arrive on 30 June and probably smash most of its competition.
