Anyway, here's a new song and a number of tourdates
Ready for some good 'ol fashioned rock 'n' roll, then you should definitely check out Freedom Hawk. These rockers are about to hit Europe in June, and what better place to start their tour than our own little hometown of Antwerp.
Anyway, here's a new song and a number of tourdates
Hypnodrone Ensemble released an hypnotic video for an excerpt of their 'The Shape Of Space' album (read our review here). This project, featuring Aidan Baker (Nadja), Eric Quach (Thisquietarmy) and Jeremie Fakir (Alice In The Cities) (amongst others), recorded one of the best albums of the year. Their psychedelic krautrock-drone is brilliant.
Black metal horde Outre have unleashed a live video for the track 'Chant 6 - Vengeance'. The wicked band is also starting to appear on stage to promote the Chants album (read our review here). The first appearance will be atIn Flammen Open Air (Germany).
This should be a guarantee for an intense evening. Prurient announced a number of tourdates in support of Godflesh. Let's just hope the noise-icon doesn't destroy the audience before the masters hit the stage...

Kiss The Anus Of A Black Cat revealed a brand new track, taken from the upcoming album 'To Live Vicariously'. This enigmatic project started out as an avant-garde dark folk one-man band but somewhere along the line he got hooked on anolog synths. The album will be available in October. Meanwhile, here is the brilliant song 'Be The Death Of Me'.
I can still hear myself thinking 'now way this is a one-man project' when I first heard Author & Punisher. The fact that I was actually watching him perform at that time, was irrelevant. This is a full force industrial doom assault by Tristan Shone.
Author & Punisher will be releasing his new album ‘Melk En Honing’ (Dutch for 'Milk & Honey') next month on Housecore Records. Below you can listen to the song 'Callus and Hoof', featuring Phil Anselmo.
Belgian experimtal ambient project Misantronics started working on a new full album, the follow up toMi Nahi. The new album will be rougher, less ambient, more drones and noises. At this moment there is no release date known. It might take a while...
Meanwhile, here is Kaag, a brand new song that shows the new direction.
This is getting better and better. After already announcing over a hundred bands (and probably some more to come), the Incubate organisation has now announced a smasher for this year's edition of the increasingly famous festival. It looks like King Buzzo loved it so much last year that he decided to come back and take the rest of The Melvins with him. The sludge lords will perform on 15 & 16 September.

Angel's Conquest is a power metal band from Ukraine. In fact, they're the oldest power metal band in the country. 'Taste Of Life' will be the band's fifth studio album, combining heavy riffing, folky passages and a lot of melody. Today they released the video for the title track 'Taste Of Life'. Enjoy
Belgium's finest post-rock band Cecilia::Eyes delivered an amazing concert at Dunk!Festival this year. In the setlist was a brand new, unreleased track, named 'Missing Pieces', which they played for the very first time.
For us, they were the number one discovery on the latest edition of Dunk!Festival. To them, it was the very first appearance in Europe. The End Of The Ocean is an amazing post-rock band from Ohio (US). We had a little chat with them after their stunning performance. The interview will be online soon, but for now, we'd like to recommend all post-rock fans to check out the dates below and prepare for a fantastic evening.
Melodic metal band Pyramaze just released the music video for the title track of their new album "Disciples of the Sun". "Disciples of the Sun" will be released on May 22nd in Europe and on May 26th in North America through Inner Wound Recordings.
