Multi-national visionary death metal group Coma Cluster Void are on the cusp of finally releasing their long awaited debut, 'Mind Cemeteries'. While many first became aware of the group through a series of 2014 posts across the metal blogsphere mentioning the bands status as a 10-string guitar wielding death metal band, it quickly became evident that the music was no gimmick once more teasers and an early release of the title track, "Mind Cemeteries" was released last year (see video below). The project came together in 2013 when modern German avant-garde composer John Strieder and fellow conductor and instrumentalist Sylvia Hinz joined forces. Over the following years other talented musicians have joined their ranks to create a terrifying yet unique vision of death metal like you've never heard it sound before. Beyond John Strieder on 10-string guitar and Sylvia Hinz on bass guitar and double bass recorder, the album also features a fierce dual vocalist attack from ex-Cryptopsy vocalist Mike DiSalvo and Dimensionless vocalist Austin Taylor. Rounded out by the brilliant playing of drummer Christopher Burrows, Mind Cemeteries also features vocal guest spots by well known death metal vocalist Lord Worm (ex-Cryptopsy) and Will Smith (Artificial Brain) as well. 'Mind Cemeteries' comes out on Friday, August 26th ![]()

Brazilan garage rockers Motor City Madness have just revealed a video for the song 'Gravediggers'. The song comes from the upcoming 7" release. About that, the band has the following to say:
Recorded in 2015 at 301 Studios, Sydney, Austrália within Converse Rubber Tracks Worldwide project, the songs shows the band once more molesting ears and shaking brains with 5 anti-hits filled with rotten skulls, blood and distortion. Or as once was told "a motorized garage-punk-n-roll-stoner". This is the band's first vinyl and comes up with great style in a green snot disc full of class. Alongside the disc comes a videoclip from the track that gives name to it: "Gravediggers"." Russian Circles have premiered the third single off of their forthcoming album Guidance today; listen to “Afrika”, which follows previously premiered songs “Vorel” and “Mota” on the album’s track listing, here on Soundcloud. These three songs exemplify Russian Circles' ability to examine the polarity of quiet and loud, complexity and simplicity, ugliness and beauty and offer great insight to the incredible dynamics found on Guidance, out August 5th from Sargent House, ![]()

Mexican metal quintet Excellion has debuted the video single from their upcoming ep, 'Unsean', due to be released on August 6th, 2016. This 5-track was mixed and mastered by Luke Martin (Plini, Nick Johnston) in Peterborough, United Kingdom. The video for 'Unlucky Charms' was directed by Sofia Ptacnik.
“The story of the song may be a little different from the video of a metal band and that’s the whole point,” singer and bassist Adrian Vilbel commented. “The song talks about your self, a reunion with your inner child asking you if what you’re doing right now is what you’ve always dreamed of and the video it’s like an alternate reality where there’s this magical instrument that is capable of make you a virtuoso in any musical endeavor you may take and that’s why it’s so valuable and anyone wants it, even people with a lot of money and what we see at the start of the video. You know, we wanted to make something different to an always dark ambient metal video so that’s why we made it that way, it was actually fun. “We could relate the song and the video in a way that is kind of a dream of that inner child of yours telling you that sometimes there’re more important things out there, so you should enjoy the ride and stop trying to take shortcuts, that’s what make experiences so valuable,” he continues. ![]()
