Belgian experimental ambient act Misantronics has revealed a third track from the upcoming album, 'Artache'. The song, titled 'Electric Zoo', is a rhythmic and hypnotic drone/ambient track, driving on a pulsating electronic sequence.
Misantronics comments:
"I like to explore genre boundaries and I love to drag in things that seemingly don't match. Perhaps that is the concept behind 'Artache'. I love to experiment but I want to keep Misantronics an "ambient" project. For electronic dance music, I have Mint Narcosis. Still, for this particular track, I wanted to see how far I could manipulate sounds from trance and techno without turning them into actual trance and techno."
Earlier, Misantronics also revealed the dark jazz inspired 'Nature Morte En Caverne' and the heartbeat driven 'Everybody Else' (see below). The album also contains a rock inspired cooperation with fellow countryman Ashtoreth, which counts as the "magnum opus" of 'Artache'.
More info and a release date will follow soon.
