Post rock fans, rejoice. The good people from Dunk! Festival have some good news. First off, they announced these four acts for the 2017 edition in Belgium:
Jambinai is an award winning act from South Korea and mixes sounds from the past with elements of folk, metal and electronic music. We're pretty sure this will be a special experience!
Lost in Kiev from Paris, France is surely not unknown to you guys. They played our festival in 2013 and were impressive enough to already ask them back in 2014. After releasing their latest album Nuit Noire on dunk!records a few months ago we think it's about time to have them on our stage again! Nuit Noire is still available on gorgeous vinyl but going fast!
The Moth Gatherer from Stockholm, Sweden will bring some post-sludge-metal (you get it right?) to our stage. Heavy guitars, slow drums and intense vocals will make this an overwhelming performance. Listen to Pale Explosions from their latest album The Earth Is The Sky and turn the volume up!
La Ciencia Simple from Santiago, Chile is probably new to you (at least they were to us) but proved their skills a few times before. Last month for example, when they supported Tortoise! We're happy to introduce them to the European post-rock scene since #dnk17 will be their first show outside Chile. History will be made!

Dunk! USA is happening.
We've been working on this for a few months now and there is still a lot of work to do. We will need to figure out a lot more things than we now even know about but we are confident to set up the first edition of dunk!USA in 2017. More precisely on October 7th and 8th. Even more precisely in Burlington, Vermont. And yes, we already booked a venue! It's all going to happen in Higher Ground just outside Burlington and very easy to get there.
