Belgian writer Tamara E. Williams and the Readeos YouTube channel have revealed part 3 of their Lapses cycle. After Ashtoreth and TraumaSutra, the music on this edition has been provided by minimal drone act Hellstorm Of Flaming Nothingness, a project by Merchants Of Air writer Björn. As usual, the background is painted by another crew member, Paul (apparently, he also has a website with his paintings, click here).

With all this Merchants Of Air involvement, we can now also confirm that the entire 'Lapses' cycle will be released on the Merchants Of Air bandcamp page. The release will feature all tracks, plus the entire story on a pdf. We don't have a date yet since the story cycle is still being worked on and expanding. More details will be revealed soon.

Hellstorm Of Flaming Nothingness comments: 'As an avid reader, i always wonder what music would work best as a soundtrack for a particular chapter when I'm reading. For me to collaborate with Tamara on her Lapses project is a great opportunity and very insightful. The piece I chose is a reworking of a track from the 'Futile' ep that was partly inspired by a Clive Barker binge-reading session.'

Tamara E. Williams comments: 'Part one was partially influenced by the music, part two by the painting. For part three, I needed to look forward and get the story on track again. The minimalism of the music certainly helped in creating the gloomy atmosphere. I'm looking forward to the upcoming parts. The basic story is in my head but things can change, depending on the music and the painting, that's a whole new sense of artistic freedom. '

Of course, if you want to read the story at your own tempo (with a Dutch translation coming soon), you can go to Tamara E. Williams' website (click here). To be able to follow the story, you also might want to read parts one and two. For that, click here.
