Van Halst release powerful new video for 'Questions'
Kami Van Halst comments:
"“Questions is a very important song for us. There is so much victim blaming in our society and we wanted to draw attention to this issue. My sister (Brittney Grabill) and I wrote this song in response to a series of sexual assaults that were happening in our home town. We were appalled by the lack of focus on the perpetrator and the questions being asked of the victims such as “Well what were they doing there in the first place?” We need to stop putting the blame on the victims and shift our focus to preventing these altercations in the first place. People need to understand that violence and abuse towards another person, any person, is not ok."

Nick Oliveri to release 'N.O. Hits At All' compilations
The man comments on this new work:
"This record is the Volume One of a series of compilations in which I recorded the vocals. Bands that I like and bands that like my singing voice enough to have asked me to “guest vocal” on a song for their records. Some of these have been released and some have not until now. I have sang and/or recorded bass on 50+ releases of bands I love and had the great honor to work with – Dwarves, Mondo Generator, Svetlanas, Q.O.T.S.A, Kyuss, Bl'Ast, Bloodclo, Masters Of Reality, Vista Chino, Mark Lenagan Band, Turbonegro, Death Acoustic, The Uncontrollable, to name a few. The good folks at Heavy Psych Sounds Records are releasing a series called "N.O. Hits At All”. Now for the first time, all these songs and bands I’ve recorded with over the past 25 years are together and available to you to trip out on. So get your head right, put this record on and play it loud!"

Wormlight reveals new song and ep details
The band comments:
The Bloodfields is an eerie pilgrimage amidst the putrid, formless undergrowth of formation through shared sepulchral ingress. Centered in the ruinous garden of deathless sighs where the fiery epitaph of the first son is a fulcrum beneath the crimson-stained scepter of life and the sterile walls of silence. It envisions the very end of all things conjured as perfectly still, cold and deathly quiet. A ceaseless dirge that removes the notion of entitled grandeur. Pauper or prince, all is equal before death.
Diatonic streams new track
Diatonic is the solo project of Joakim Antman, a Swedish musician who plays bass in the likes of The Ugly, Skitarg and Overtorture. For this project, the musician shows his multi-instrumental capability and teams up with Marduk's drummer Fredrik Widigs to provide what we will simply call a swedish death metal beast!
