Duel announce EU tour dates

Picture
Austin, Texas tripped-out heavies DUEL are set to release their second album “Witchbanger” this April 28th on Heavy Psych Sounds. The album was produced and engineered by lead guitarist Jeff Henson at Red Nova Ranch Studio in Texas, not far from the historic Texas Chainsaw Massacre house. The band will support the new album with an extensive European tour, see full list below.
Formed by two ex-members of Scorpion Child, these purists cut it right to the bone with heavy, deep grooves and blistering tunes. After their well-acclaimed debut "Fears Of The Dead" released in February 2016, DUEL are back with an even more raging full-length on Heavy Psych Sounds, cheekily entitled "Witchbanger".

Ninjaspy announce new album and video

'Spüken' was recorded and mixed sporadically over the next two years at in Vancouver BC and in the spring of 2016 between recording sessions, the band teased fans with a filmed and recorded live acoustic performance of their track 'Azaria', a song that is included with full metal instrumentation on the new genre-bending album. It showed the true diversity of the band and their ability to take manic and intense music and make it tender and raw.

The Sonic Dawn reveal new video and album details

Picture
Copenhagen's forerunning psych rock trio THE SONIC DAWN just confirmed an April 21st release for their second album "Into The Long Night", coming out on Heavy Psych Sounds. Find all details as well as their new video below...

"Into the Long Night" is the second album by THE SONIC DAWN, one of the most remarkable bands to come out of the new psychedelic wave in Denmark. Just a few seconds into this album, and you will realize that you are in for a mind-altering experience. “It’s a trip! By taking the listeners to places they didn’t expect to go, we hope to make them aware – that they’ll stop up and think about life for a minute. Awareness is the first step to change in the world” says Emil Bureau (guitar/vocals).

It was made in collaboration with some of Scandinavia’s most regarded personnel: it features Swedish Hammond legend Erik ‘Errka’ Petersson on keys and Morten Grønvad on vibraphone/percussions, which adds to its soundtrack-like qualities. Mixed in The Village Recording with jazz producer Thomas Vang (Oscar Peterson, Randy Brecker). Mastered in Svenska Grammofonstudion with Hans Olsson Brookes (Graveyard, Blues Pills, José González). "Into The Long Night" will be available on orange transparent vinyl, black vinyl, CD and digital.
