You'd look pretty cool in this one, really
Time to blast another haunting piece of black metal through my speakers at high volume.  Fierce aggression, eerie melodies and a dark, pagan atmosphere, accompanied by some of the most freaked-out vocals I've heard in awhile, that's what we get from the latest albums by Russian horde Dor Feafaroth.  There's also some room for clean, pagan chants, adding a sense of variation to the blasphemous bombast these Russian throw in our face.

This is quite a short album, clocking off at a bit of thirty minutes, but in that time Dor Feafaroth has been wrecking a lot of havoc with their brutal riffs and gloomy arrangements.  They only need seven songs to convince me of their capabilities and in those seven songs they blend traditional black metal with a touch of folk.  The result is chaotic in one way and organic in another, confusing too at times.

I quite like this album.  It's another great example of Russian extreme music which seems to be gaining an own identity.  So what else can I do but recommend this album to any black metal fan out there, especially the ones who like a cold, fearsome and haunting atmosphere in their music.  In that, these guys certainly succeed, not only with the sounds of the keyboards but with their brutal and stunning music overall.
