Sincerely, I haven’t found the album to be a major achievement, but certainly Out of the Shallow have its merits and qualities. The album has an aggressive, but ambiguous layer of acerbic devotion to its intense compromise with a furious sound, where abrasive guitar lines predominate, and dictates the shape of the music, to build an ocean of rhythmic paradigms, where the world can fall apart, without disturbing the ritualistic development of the sound.
For aficionados of an audacious type of rock, that has on the hyperbolic distinctions of a very singular style the prominent scale of an effervescent conscious dream of infinite universes of inhospitable hope, Out of the Shallow can be considered the embodiment of a colorful nightmare, where wrathful vocals and inconspicuously pungent and strident guitar solos partake at a surreal moment in life, imprisoned in the antagonistic sound of a soul that will never fade away. With those sensibilities, the splendid, lucid, cohesive and consistent style delivered by the band creates a parallel dimension of intense corrosion, where you will hardly be able to come out alive and well.
Out of the Shallow surely is an interesting album, with abundant precious skills that validates a multidimensional sonorous experience elaborated at the height of a tenaciously vivacious energy. With an authentic approach to their own style, full of vigor, audacity and creativity, the insertion of diverse elements into their sound impressively aggregates new values to the genre. Undoubtedly, Earth Witch had managed to achieve formidable results with this marvelous work, that has everything to captivate the enthusiasts of a good, resonating and imperative symbiotic rock.
