Evasive Backflip opens with a quite messy, rough and weird song that actually is very entertaining. This is pretty far from any style of conventional music we encounter these days. Somewhere beneath the instrumental chaos there's a fragile beauty to be found, but only for them who listen good enough.
She Speaks In Tongues brings us a song that drives on a noisy, distorted riff and features some gritty new wave vocals. 'Mrs Johnson' reminds me of experimental rock bands like Sonic Youth and post-punk bands like Joy Division and is one hell of a rocker.
So yes, Impossible Colors surprised us again with two quite refreshing rock bands. I'm already curious about what they're going to present us next month...
