World Behind the Fence and Their Eyes Everywhere is an album released by fabulous and wonderful Slovakian Post Rock act Get Lost, Wire Avenue. With only three tracks, all more than twelve minutes long – Transmission Lost, Paranoia and False Flag – this amazing record with this magnificently long title is a serious and majorly awesome masterpiece, that has a unique vibe and a very proficient sonorous appeal.

Alternating between melancholic, philosophic, sad and sinister atmospheres, World Behind the Fence and Their Eyes Everywhere builds a world entirely apart of ordinary existence, conflagrating a unique soundscape, that immerses the listener into very different moods, throughout its three exponentially grotesque, but poetically redemptive tracks.

With an opaque, but softly epic dynamic, these songs rely on mood elements, to create an environment of its own. With an excellent intriguing atmosphere, this album has contrasting shapes and components, competently tied to each other, in a very proficient musical technique, that build on very solid guitar lines a complete world of lucid abilities to duplicate emotional settings with perfection and cohesion. With a very coherent diagram of integral perfectionism, the songs are brilliantly executed, in an almost precise mathematical extremism, that inserts into the soul of the musical shape the vision of a dream that goes alongside the tunnel of a very intricate surreal objectivity.

An interesting album, that aligns allegorical settings with a very synchronized element, World Behind the Fence and Their Eyes Everywhere is an album driven by a strong correlation between artistry and emotion, although the rationalized section of the musical structure strongly prevails. Nonetheless, it never sounds shallow, artificial or hollow, as the sensibility of their sound expands throughout the subtle soul revealed to be relying undisturbed underneath the multiple layers that their music – way more complex that at first seems – hides within the spirit of its consistent surface.

A work capable of pleasing the more ardent enthusiasts of post rock and ambient music, especially those heavily inclined to dissonant and resonating guitars, World Behind the Fence and Their Eyes Everywhere is a major album, very rooted in the most solid elements of the genre. Despite some dispersive and familiar characteristic elements, Get Lost, Wire Avenue does manage to impersonate and create a marvelous sound of their own, with a distinctively solid identity, that amalgamates into their style a precise evaluation of sound that has yet to be assimilated by other acts of the genre, with abundant beautiful qualities that relocates this band to a place in a very peculiar category, yet to be precisely defined. A vividly spectacular and splendorous album, World Behind the Fence and Their Eyes Everywhere is a groundbreaking piece, that deserves to be recognized as a majestic trademark, in each and every place where this record is played.
