Some years ago, I was introduced to minimal music by a friend of mine.  At first, I actually found it quite boring since there's really not much happening.  Shortly after, someone else introduced me to minimal techno and before I knew it, I bought myself some minimal ambient CDs.  I don't like minimal techno I guess. Over time I began to appreciate those works by people like Brian Eno, Peter Broderick and Pete Namlook, to name a few.

Infants is a one-man act by William Kudahl, a 23-year-old composer and sound artist form Silkeborg (Denmark).  Since 2013 he has been performing under this moniker, although I don't think there is a lot of performance going on during these gigs.  Usually these artists tend to sit quite still and gently allow wave after wave of blissful sounds float through the air.  That is what I'm reminded of here, a soft, soothing concert.

The four tracks on this album can be seen as quiet islands in a vast ocean of musical madness, safe havens in a world of noise.  On these islands, only the wind and the waves still resonate, perhaps a far away animal could be heard but nothing else.  Infants loves to dwell here, loves to harvest these minimal sounds and present them on this great album.  I do recommend checking it out and let it replace the continuous noise in your head...
