black metal

So is the Swiss black metal band which carries the same name. They too seem to have utter destruction, torment and an intensely bleak future in mind. With members coming from several black metal bands there's enough experience to become a bonafide player in the genre. In three songs, the band delivered a solid business card in their quest for the demolition of stages far and wide.
The albums with a drony intro, heralding impending curses and rituals. Shortly after we do indeed get blast beats, haunted screams and fierce guitar riffs in perfect old school black metal tradition. Malphas doesn't seem to care about melody or atmospheric effects. In stead they play their crushing songs with a lot of intensity and an extreme tempo. Here and there the tempo goes down a bit but it never loses its scathing capacity.
So if you're in for a wild ride through hell, you can't go wrong if the Great Prince is your guide. You will witness the sickest torments, the most desperate souls and the most depraved creatures you can imagine but it'll be worth it. Every old school black metal fan should check this out, this is as evil and vile as black metal can get...
