There are three songs on this album, each of them being a fierce steamroller of technical death metal, perfectly capable of crushing the competition, or the enemy of reason in this case. The riffs flash through my speakers in a vigorous tempo, accompanied with a deep, gutteral voice and almost constantly rolling bass drums. Blast beats are presented throughout the main part of this e.p., which obviously makes this a hard pill to swallow if you're not used to death metal.
But if you are into death metal, you really should check this out. I've rarely heard a more technical approach in this genre, and I've rarely encountered the sound of the electronics in the opener 'Nex'. They remind me a little of Fear Factory but then in a Suffocation-kind of fashion. So in all, this definitely is something worth checking out. I can imagine these songs blasting the audience in a live setting and they're no less destructive in digital form.
