Occult 45 is a grindcore outfit from Philiadelphia (USA). In mere five years they have mastered the art of extreme metal to a stunning extent. On this 7" they recorded a number of tracks that don't need a lot of time to convince the listener, nor to change the tempo about ten times.
Besides the typical influences like punk and death metal, there's a lot of doom and rock 'n' roll here as well. This is pretty interesting and surprising because none of the songs are three minutes long. The longest track (Succibi - 2.54) ends with an almost 30 seconds drone outro.
So this really is an interesting 7", mainly because the very effective tactics of 'surprise and destroy' and because of the variations in tempo and sound, following each other in hyperspeed. After mere twelve minutes you'll be completely destroyed and crushed, and that's exactly what Occult 45 wants...
