shirts, beautiful shirts!!!
Last Songs is a beautiful and remarkable album by Seasonal, a melodic post rock project of polish musician Maciej Sochoń, released on December 2, 2016. With nine tracks of impressive beauty – Collapse, Years of shared life, Exiter, Rise to fall, Sad Lady, They Say, When you left sandbox for the last time (acoustic), Last Song and Buried memories – Last Songs is a major masterpiece, extremely smooth, soft, sentimental, melodic, peaceful, harmonic and quiet. A truly majestic work of art, it is an astounding musical accomplishment on rhythmic serenity, ethereal elusiveness and dissonant juxtaposition of sonorous guidance, with so many resourceful peculiarities, that Last Songs can almost be defined as having created a genre of its own.

Calm, transcendental and philosophic melodies are a trademark throughout the whole album. Beautiful beyond any measurement, Last Songs has the aspect of a peaceful and enjoyable sea of tranquility, echoing ecstatic in its own soundscape lost in space and time, beyond blue abysses of rhetorical infinity. Guarded by a powerful light of its own, this majestic piece of work sculpts sensibility at the heart of the listener, in a wave of magnificent revelation that you immediately feel the need to listen to this album a second time, as soon as it is over.

With each track being more beautiful than the predecessor, this album is a collection of marvelous melodic ambient pieces, that transcends the expansive scope of the harmonies, in a scale of ever changing sonorous shapes, that compels the music to a subtle metamorphosis, deliberately created to keep the distinctive identity of the music, that rises in a high level energy that elevates your soul to very distant paths of existence.

While the sound deeply corroborates a fantastic journey throughout the extensive universe of your imagination, Last Songs has built a world of its own, in a parallel sideline of transcendental sensitivity, that generated elements obliterated for too long, reiterating the brave expectancy that keeps sensibilities growing, inside the mind, the body and the heart. And its sound keeps evolving from within, always assimilating at the purity of the soul of its creative wave the marvelous and poetic components sculpted at the highlight of a strength difficult to be found at this side of life.

An album easy to love, to hear, to evaluate, Last Songs, by Seasonal, is everything but ordinary. A marvelous and majestic piece, it’s has everything to be considered the next big thing in the underground scenario in the year to come. A record to love, to appreciate, to listen at least one thousand times, this is a major masterpiece. With no flaws, no failures and no minor tracks, this album definitely is a work to be extremely proud of!
