Drones and soundscapes created by his voice and his breath are being supported by minimal percussion, created by hitting the microphone. The result is a dark, intense and immersive five-track that fits very well in the dark ambient scene. At times I'm reminded of acts like Raison D'Etre or CHVE, two acts I also mentioned in my review for Treha Sektori's previous work.
That being said, in a way this tape is a continuance of the usual Treha Sektori sound. Basically, it's more of the same but when 'the same' is that good, it actually doesn't matter. If you were fond of 'The Sense Of Dust And Sheer', you will absolutely love 'Acermeh', there's no doubt about that. If you still have to discover this amazing act, what the hell are you waiting for?
This tape was recorded live on several different dates and places but still provides a decent overview of the dark sounds this project has been creating over the years. That way it shows the true talent of this multi-faceted artist. So if you're into deep drones, minimal percussion and far away voices of despair, this truly is something for you.
