Let's blast another piece of sheer brutality through my speakers, and we're going to new extremes with this one.  Not only musically, but also as far as philosophy is concerned.  Spanish death metal act Tsar Bomb advocates for nothing less but the complete eradication of the human race.   With this album, the musical equivalent to a weapon of mass destruction, the certainly spawn some intense misanthropy and nihilism.

The motto of Tsar Bomb is 'fast and aggressive', and in that they certainly succeed.  This album is loaded with hyperspeed death metal tracks and completely devoid of breathers.  In that aspect, this album is 'damnation without relief'.  That already begins in the intro by the way.  Where most acts choose an atmospheric intro, Tsar Bomb very quickly opens the punishing battery of the blast beats.

From the on, we're on a wild ride where continuous blast beats and highly technical riffs drag the listener down into chaos and destruction.  In a way, this album reminds me of something between Krisiun and Limbonic Art, mainly in speed, aggression and crushing intensity.  Naming a favorite track is a hopeless task, but I think I am going to push 'Ad Maiorem Legio Gloriam' and 'Mikaheylel' forward as most recommended songs.

Unfortunately, there is little else to say about this album, which doesn't mean it's a bad one.  On the contrary, fans of brutal technical black metal will probably find a new favorite in this piece of work.  Other people won't be able to withstand the inhuman pummeling that Tsar Bomb delivers.  So check it out if you dare, but beware because this is a massive monster, ready to take you down anytime.
